COVID update 12th August 2020

Updated on 18/09/2020
Now we are in level 2 we are still open as usual but we have locked the automatic entrance door. This allows us to restrict the number of patients in our building and helps to maintain a safe distance from each other. When you arrive for a booked appointment please wait outside (in a car if possible) and ring us or wave through the window so we know you are here. We will come and get you just before your appointment. We have set time aside for COVID swabbing late mornings and late afternoons. We will do these in the car park where possible. Please ring us if you have any concerns, and always ring us before coming to the Practice if you have any cold or flu like symptoms.

Update 3rd July 2020

Updated on 18/09/2020
We are trying to improve our service as a result of COVID-19. There have been a number of changes as a result: We now offer phone consults. These work well for routine follow up, simple health concerns or follow up of mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. We continue to see patients face to face. If you are unwell please ask to speak to a nurse first. You particularly need to seen in person if the problem is complex, you need to be examined by the doctor, or you are new to the Practice. If you have been saving up a number of problems during COVID-19 please book a double appointment. Prescriptions are now sent directly to your pharmacy of choice. You only need to collect it in person if you require a blood test or blood pressure check or a health professional needs to see you. Referrals to other providers are also sent electronically. The service you are being referred to will contact you directly. It is important that we have your correct details for this. You can send us general emails to or specifically to our Practice Manager at We would like our patients to use for information. This is local health information developed by health professionals that is much more accurate than google.
